Zen Apps: Desktop Tools to Organize Your Brain
I only have experience with two of the programs in the article: Evernote, and Instapaper. I used to be a huge fan of Evernote, but it has become bloated and sluggish in my experience, so be warned. I would instead reccomend Yojimbo, or better yet if you just need notes then Notational Velocity. Instapaper on the other hand is nothing short of great.
