Hypermultitasking

Nicholas Carr:

You can improve your agility at multitasking, but you will never be able to multitask and engage in deep thought at the same time.

Carr hits on a great point in his post about Multitasking: mulitasking is good most of the time, just not when you really need to think. I have been pretty critical of late about multitasking, however I think it is important to remember that I am not against listening to the radio while driving. I am against multitasking while doing work that actually requires deep and creative thought.
