Saying No
Dave Damron:
While working in a 9-5, cubicle job, I quickly learned that accepting everything asked of me was not possible nor did I want all of these responsibilities in my life. I still did what was asked of me for my job, but I wasn’t looking to get ahead in that job so all that extra work was not important to me. Some of you may think that is lazy, but I see it as focusing on what is important—my life.
'Yes' and 'No' are two of the most powerful words. I often see people in the work environment where they are afraid to say no, they are afraid to challenge. Don't be. Be cognizant of not falling into a trap where you always say no, you need to find the right balance between 'Yes' and 'No' for your life.
